I am counting down to the Significant Conference. As I prepare my final thoughts in these last days before the event, my heart is so full of God’s heart toward YOU. The very definition of the word describes the heart of the event for you.

YOU MATTER.

“For you are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10

This is the truth of God for you today. This is the heart of the message of Significant. You are worthy. You are worthy of connection and love simply because of who you are and who you belong to. I want to give you three things to improve your self-worth.

1. Stop crafting your personality around pleasing the ‘intended’ audience.

We are all wired on purpose for purpose. What is your design? What are your preferences? What is your personality. Be that. Do that. Create that. There is one unique you with an incredible plan hand crafted by your Creator. Live for Him, not for others and you cannot go wrong.

2. Don’t get trapped by competition.

I am believing that the day of the ‘mean girl agenda’ is gone. As women, it is time to end rivalry and begin collaboration. There is no such thing as a self-made woman. Without the strength of the Holy Spirit and a good friend, it can be hard to make the uphill climb. So celebrate your sister. Instead of rivalry, rejoice.

“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” Psalm 11:25

3. Don’t lose your life’s purpose by chasing after hers.

Comparison will rob your passion in the joy of your calling every time. It will distract you from the power of the present. And it will derail you from the glory of the future He has planned out for you.

Her purpose isn’t your purpose. Her goals aren’t your goals. Her body won’t be your body. Her story isn’t your story. Her future isn’t your future. She has a great life, and so do you. She is beautiful, and so are you. She has value, and so do you. I encourage you on this day to live YOUR purpose. It is SIGNIFICANT. YOU are SIGNIFICANT. I am SIGNIFICANT.
