God's Presence and Power
Matthew 18:20 (ESV)
“For where two or three are gathered in My name, there am I among them.”
When we gather in unity as a community of believers, Jesus promises to be present among us. His presence brings power, guidance, and encouragement to fulfill His purposes.
Think about the significance of gathering in Jesus’ name. This is circling up in honor of the Lord of all Creation, the Savior of the World. It’s not just any assembly. Consider the Honored Guest. When Jesus shows up, LIFE happens. He is the Way, the Truth and the LIFE.
Reflect on times when you experienced God’s tangible presence. God’s power is made available to us to meet our needs and enable our daily obedience. When Jesus shows up, we experience the literal power and presence of God Himself.
As we unite in prayer, worship, and fellowship, we invite God to work in and through us. Our unity amplifies our prayers and aligns our hearts with His will.
When can you put the moment on your calendar today? When will you choose to gather together in His name, knowing that His presence stands ready to strengthen your faith and empowers you to impact your world for His kingdom?
There is a mighty, collective power in the unity of believers through community. Not just because we gain strength and support from one another, which we do. But because the Great God of all the Universe has chosen to make His presence known when we gather. And His power is wonderfully at work when we choose to circle up in His name, and for His glory.
