John 15:5 (NIV)

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

Jesus promises that if we remain in Him, we will bear much fruit. These fruits, such as love, joy, peace, and kindness, are not just outward behaviors but manifestations of the transformation happening within us.

When we see these qualities in our lives, we can recognize that they are evidence of Christ’s work in us. This realization can lead to a deep sense of worth, knowing that we are valuable to God, who is producing these qualities in us.

Being a branch connected to the true vine gives us purpose and significance. Our worth is not derived from worldly accomplishments but from fulfilling our role in God’s Kingdom. We are called to bear fruit, which contributes to the growth and well-being of the entire vine. Understanding that our actions and character have a meaningful impact in the grander scheme of God’s plan helps us embrace our worth.
