“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
Circles of friendship call you higher than you would ever call yourself. We are inspired by love that is so selfless, so self-sacrificing that our whole outlook on life is altered. Just consider for a moment the kind of love that is willing to lay down its life for a friend. That’s just incredible. That’s Jesus-level love. And it’s the love that only truly happens in a circle.
Reflect on how your community has inspired you to grow spiritually and pursue God’s purposes. Consider the impact of shared testimonies and collective faith on your journey. Community not only supports us but also elevates our vision and inspires us to live out God’s calling on our lives. It calls us to something greater than ourselves, and it imparts to us the gift of love beyond measure: Jesus-love.
In community, we find examples of faith and dedication that challenge us to reach higher and go deeper in our relationship with God. As we gather with fellow believers, let us encourage one another to live with passion and purpose, knowing that together, we can accomplish far more than we could alone.
And take on the challenging command of Jesus today: to love others in the same way He so self-sacrificially loved you.
