“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Military tacticians have a term for the confusion and breakdown of communication in battle. They call it the “Fog of War.” As the bullets are flying in our lives, it’s easy to feel the fog. And when we don’t see our situations clearly, it can seem as though our struggles are in vain.
But they’re not.
Our struggles are part of God’s redemptive plan, shaping us into vessels of His love and grace. God has a plan to prosper you. His plan, while sometimes painful, is never meant to harm you. God has a plan that delivers the gift of hope and surety of future.
Hold fast to His promises today, even in the Fog of War, knowing that when God has a good plan, it is always accomplished In Jesus’ name. The Author and Perfecter of your faith has already spoken a victorious outcome over your life. So, lean into His presence and remind yourself of His powerful, precious promises. Take confidence in His provision, trusting that His purposes for you are beyond imagining.
Reflect on the assurance of God’s purposeful plan for our lives, even in the midst of struggle. Consider how God’s promise of hope and a future sustains us through adversity. Just as Jeremiah declares God’s plans for prosperity and not harm, let us embrace His promise with unwavering faith.
Consider the concept of the “Fog of War” in your own life.
When you find yourself in a confusing or difficult season, how can you remind yourself of God’s promises and maintain faith in His plan?
What practical steps can you take to focus on His assurances during such times?
