Proverbs 3:6 (NIV)

In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.

Life is often a journey filled with twists, turns, and unexpected detours. Along this winding path, we encounter choices and challenges that can sometimes leave us feeling lost or uncertain about which direction to take.

Seeking God in all things is not just a piece of advice; it’s a way of life. It’s an attitude that reminds us to acknowledge the Lord’s presence, wisdom, and guidance in every decision, both big and small. The beauty of this guidance is that it offers us reassurance, knowing that God is intimately involved in our lives.

Imagine navigating through a dense forest with many paths. The terrain is unfamiliar, and you’re not sure which way to go. However, you have a wise and experienced guide with you. Instead of forging ahead on your own, you choose to submit to their guidance. You trust their expertise and willingly follow their lead. In doing so, you avoid getting lost or taking unnecessary risks.

In the same way, when we submit to God in all our ways, we acknowledge that He is our trustworthy guide. He knows the way forward, even when we don’t. This surrender doesn’t signify weakness; rather, it’s an act of faith. It’s an expression of our trust in God’s wisdom and His perfect plan for our lives.

As we embrace this approach, we invite God into every aspect of our existence. We seek His counsel in our daily decisions, big or small. Whether it’s choosing a career, making financial decisions, navigating relationships, or even deciding how to spend our time, we invite Him to take the lead.

When we trust God with every step, He aligns our journey according to His divine plan. Our path might not be free of obstacles, but it will lead us where He intends. It’s not about a trouble-free life but a life directed and enriched by His purpose and wisdom.
